CHEMICAL RESISTANCE: Plasson fittings are supplied, as standard, with polyacetal split rings and NBR ‘O’ rings which are suitable for water. For aggressive chemical applications, PVC split rings and EPDM or FPM ‘O’ rings can be supplied to produce a better chemical resistance
OPERATING PRESSURES: Plasson mechanical fittings are tested and approved by WRAS in the UK to PN 16. Other standard bodies that have tested and approved plasson fittings include: KIWA (NL), standard institution of Israel (IL), QAS (AS/NZS 4129) (AUS), Santens proviningsanstalt Stockholm (S), Statens Planmerk (S), SGWA (CH), Bygningsreglementet (DK), DVGW (DIN 8076 part 3) (D), IIP (UNI9561) (IT)
OPERATING TEMPERATURES: Not suitable for hot water, however, will withstand sub zero temperatures
