After more than 46 years in total serving our customers, we have some big news to share. At the end of 2026, the Chapman family, of Farmlay Eggs and Chapman Farms, will take over the ownership and management of Brucklay Garage.

Michael first started his own business in 1980, and he and Karen have run Brucklay Garage together since 1983. With retirement beckoning, they’re ready to pass the baton on, and they couldn’t be happier that it’s going to a family they’ve known and been friends with for many years.

Michael said: “I’ve always been passionate about fitting the right machine to the needs of the customer. It’s important to me that people can come here, receive honest advice and invest in the right equipment. That’s what builds trust, and I know Iain and Debbie share those same values.”

We’ll have a new name: The Store at Brucklay

The horticultural products, parts and services you know and trust will carry on as normal

There’ll be a much wider range of agricultural supplies, so you can find what you need and take it home the same day

Murray Bremner will be joining us as manager

From Michael, Karen and family a heartfelt thank you to every one of our customers for your loyalty and support over the years. It’s been a real pleasure. We hope you’ll give Iain, Debbie and Murray the same warm welcome and support.
