The HP42 is an excellent hand-propelled, petrol-driven mower. The Mountfield ST120 Auto choke engine and the 41cm cutting width combine to produce a hard-working and dependable mower.
The mower is robust with a steel chassis and easy to use. It has a centralised lever to adjust the cutting height of the blade – and there are six different positions to choose from depending on the length of grass you are cutting – and clippings are collected in a capacious 60-litre canvas collection bag.
