The solo® by AL-KO BF 5002 R Combi-Tool is a very powerful unit, and can be converted for 6 applications using the optional attachments.
Whether as a bar mower for garden maintenance and meadow grass extraction, as a roller brush for cleaning the yard or street, or as a compact plough – with just a few simple steps you can equip the all-rounder with the right attachment and carry it out efficiently and effortlessly. The high engine power, the switchable wheel drive with forward and reverse gear and the large, all-terrain pneumatic tyres guarantee you easy, safe and posture-friendly guidance of the single-axle vehicle; even in rough terrain, uneven meadows and on difficult to access slopes. The height-adjustable and swiveling guide bar makes operating easy and allows easy maneuvering even in narrow, winding courtyards and on meadows and field edges.
The drive for the attachments such as scythe bar, rotary mower, tiller, etc (all accessories are not included in the scope of delivery) can be switched on and off separately – for your safety at work. This makes the combi device the reliable and versatile helper for every home and garden owner who wants to do all the tasks related to his property with just one device. And, depending on the size of the area, an inexpensive alternative to a lawn tractor.
With the 2.74 kW output of its powerful 163 cc petrol engine from Briggs & Stratton, the combi device is well equipped to perform a variety of tasks efficiently and quickly with little strain on the operator. The gear unit is operated in an oil bath via a worm wheel, ensuring a long service life. The wheel drive with forward and reverse gears (2.2 / 1.1 km / h) ensures smooth work and fast, effort-free passage in any terrain. Increased safety when operating, makes the device extremely agile. The height-adjustable, vibration-damped handlebar can be individually adjusted to the body size of the operator and can be swiveled by up to 180° for maneuvering in difficult surroundings. The basis for the precise and fatigue-free implement guidance of the power unit has already been laid in the design: the short single-axle vehicle with extra-large wheels with pneumatic tires and coarse-treaded farmer profile ensures ground clearance equal to the bar mowers. Even on slopes with a gradient of up to approx. 20°, with tall grass and wild growth, you can get through it efficiently.
Limitless use – 6 devices in one: You can convert the basic device with the right attachment in no time at all for the desired application. With the 87 cm wide cutter bar, the device becomes a scythe mower for areas up to 2000 m² – with a separate cutting drive that can be switched on and off. The scythe mower attachment is used for clean mowing of meadows, the tiller is used for chopping, digging and weeds. The ridging plough is the right tool for growing potatoes and fruit.
